JUNIOR RUGBY LEAGUE
AGES 5 - 11

The mighty Snowy River Bears revived junior rugby league in Jindabyne in 2025 with the establishment of our minis program designed for boys and girls aged 5 - 9 years old. For 2026, we are looking to expand the ages to U11s for both tackle and girls league tag.

Working in conjunction with Cooma Junior Rugby League and Canberra Region Rugby League, the new minis competition will be played on Friday afternoons between Cooma and Jindabyne.

DETAILS:

Age Groups:

• U6 - non-contact/tag (boys and girls)

• U7 - non-contact/tag (boys and girls) for the first 10 rounds and then tackle, after completing a Tackle Ready program

• U8s - tackle (boys and girls)

• U9s - tackle (boys and girls)

• U11s - tackle (boys and girls)

• U7 - U11s Girls League Tag (non-contact/tag)

First Games: Friday 24th April 2026

Game Days & times: Fridays 4.30pm - 6.30pm

Game Locations: JJ Connors Oval, Jindabyne and Cooma Showground, Cooma

Training Day & Times: Monday 4pm - 6pm

REGISTRATION: 2026 Player Registration is only $49 per player and includes Playing Jersey, Shorts, Socks, Training Top and Player Insurance. PLUS all registered players are eligible for one (1) FREE ticket (general admission) to EVERY ROUND of the NRL Telstra Premiership regular season competition (conditions apply). See more HERE​
